序章
Two thousand years, from the dark reaches of another galaxy, a demon with not a shred of compassion for humankind, descended upon earth.
兩千年前，從別的星系的黑暗降臨，一個對人類沒有絲毫同情的惡魔降落到了地球上。
He defiled the land, sending vile creatures to live in it, and thus became ruler of the world.
他汙染了這片土地，派出邪惡的生物居住在這片土地上，因此成為世界的統治者。
The King of Felishika, appalled by what had happened, prayed to the Spirit of the Holy Land of Zeliard for help in defeating this monster.
With the help of the holy crystals called Tears of Esmesanti, the King managed to wrest power from the fiend and seal him deep within the bowels of the earth.
And once again, the light of peace came to shine upon the earth.
和平之光再一次照耀著大地。
However, it is written in the Sixth Book of Esmesanti: The Age of Darkness.
Beware, for I shall wake from my sleep of 2,000 years and once again reign over the world.
惡魔：「當心，我將從2000年的睡眠中醒來，並再次統治整個世界。」
Once, long age, a terrible storm came to the land of Zeliard.
烏雲籠罩著天空; 閃電閃爍，雷聲隆隆。
Day after day, rain poured from the heavens as if in lament.
日復一日，雨從天上傾瀉而下，彷彿在哀嘆。
On the seventh day of rain, a beautiful young girl stood on her balcony watching this dark, sad rain.
The girl was Princess Felicia la Felishika. She was the only daughter of King Felishika, and the light of his life.
Her smiles were like sunshine, her voice as beautiful as that of an angel. She was adored by people of the kingdom.
“What a dreadful storm! Will it never end?”
Just as the princess spoke these words, the raindrops turned to grains of sand which covered the ground below her.
As she watched, a startling transformation began to take place.
“How can this be?” She cried, “What evil power could cause such a terrible thing to happen?”
“怎麼會這樣？” 她哭了：“什麼邪惡的力量會導致如此可怕的事情發生？”
Princess Felicia shivered as she felt a dark presence near her, and suddenly, a terrifying voice bellowed as loud as thunder.
費利西亞公主 顫抖著，感到附近有一片黑暗的存在，突然，一聲可怕的聲音像雷聲一樣響亮。
“I am Jashiin, the Emperor of Chaos. The descendants of those who imprisoned me under the earth shall you know that my wrath has smoldered for two thousand years!”
“我是混沌帝王賈希因。那些把我囚禁在地下傢伙的後代子孫，你們應該知道我的憤怒已經燃燒了兩千年了！”
”Beautiful Princess Felicia, you will make a lovely and terrifying symbol of my awakening. Your father will not make the mistakes of his ancestors”

As the words of the demon resounded over the land, Princess Felicia was turned to stone.
當惡魔的話語在地上迴盪時，費利西亞公主變成了石頭。
The rain of sand continued for 108 days and transformed the once-fertile land into desert.
沙塵暴持續了108天，使曾經肥沃的土地變成了沙漠。
The people of the kingdom wept at the terrible fate of their country, and of their princess.
人民為國家和公主的可怕命運而哭泣。

As the King grieved, an apparition appeared before him.
Having spoken these words, the Spirit disappeared.

King Felishika could not believe what he had seen. “Surely my mind is playing tricks on me! I’m afraid I have gone mad with grief.”

But the next day, a stranger appeared in the kingdom…

Guided by the light of the Spirit, brave Duke Garland had journeyed many days to the land of Zeliard.
勇敢的加蘭公爵在聖靈的指引下，旅行了許多天到達澤利亞德。
Entering the castle, he was quickly escorted to the throne of the grieving King Felishika.
進入城堡後，他被迅速護送上悲痛的國王費利西卡（Felishika）的寶座前面。
“Duke Garland! You must be the man of destiny of whom the Spirit spoke. I beg of you to destroy the demon Jashiin who has cursed my kingdom and turned my beloved daughter to stone.”
“加蘭公爵！ 你必須是聖靈所說的命運之人。 我求你摧毀那個詛咒我的王國並將我心愛的女兒變成石頭的惡魔賈希因。”
Duke Garland knelt before the king.“Your Majesty, I have followed the light of the Spirit to this place.”

“I know not of this demon, nor what powers he may possess, but if there is none else who can defeat him, then I will dedicate my life to this task.”

“For the first time since the sandstorm begam, you have brought hope into my heart, Duke Garland. May God go with you on your quest.

Suddenly, the room grew cold. A black mist swirled around them, then took on a hideous shape.
突然，房間變冷了。 黑色的霧氣在他們周圍旋轉，然後呈現出可怕的形狀。
“Are you the fool who dares to challenge me? Don’t be absurd”

“And you must be the evil Jashiin!”

“You shall address me as the Emperor of Chaos… THE EMPEROR OF CHAOS!”

“Young fool, I could destroy you now, but I need a little amusement. I will give you some time perform your little quest, but you must promise not to bore me”

“Of course, you have no hope of defeating me.”

The demon laughed, and the sound was like breaking glass.
“My labtrinths are immense, and run deep into the earth. You’ll soon lose your way, and then my underlings will finish you off.”

“It’s been many years since a stray mortal has wandered into their realm. They are hungry for human flesh”

With that, Jashiin disappeared leaving echoes of earsplitting laughter.
就這樣，賈希因消失了，留下迴盪的笑聲。
“You haven’t seen the last of me, Jashiin! Your reign of evil is near its end!

At last, the door of destiny was opened. The labyrinths are deep, and the way is long. Will Duke Garland be successful in dethroning the Emperor of Chaos?
